Psychsource is a non-profit organization undeer the direction of mental health care professionals committed to developing and maintaining
a comprehensive database of local and national mental health resources. Currently Psychsource covers only the state of Georgia. This database
is made freely available to consumers, healthcare professionals, hospitals, institutions, schools, and others.
Our mission is to provide a comprehensive resource guide that comusmers, families, healthcare professionals and educators can reference
in order to easily and quickly access information regarding treatment, support groups, government services and other parts of the complex
public and private mental health system
Please note that only organizations providing outpatient services on a sliding-fee scale basis or at no cost to consumers will be included in the Psychsource database. While there may be some limited exceptions for highly specialized services deemed difficult to find, private providers will not be listed in Psychsource. Private providers are encouraged to join their respective professional associations with whom Psychsource has partnered. Links to these associations are listed here and will be available to clinicians and consumer accessing Psychsource.
